This Privacy Policy describes how Augmenos collects, uses, and safeguards information in connection with its website (augmenos.com) and its mobile and spatial computing applications (collectively, the “Services”). Augmenos operates from the Netherlands and is subject to the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) and other applicable privacy laws.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to all applications developed and published by Augmenos, including but not limited to:
- Astronoma
- Cyberstocks
- Mexico Vision
- Museas
It also applies to any additional applications released under the Augmenos brand, unless otherwise stated.
2. Data Collection and Processing
The Services are designed to operate with minimal or no collection of personal data.
- Augmenos does not collect names, email addresses, contact details, or other personally identifiable information, except where a user contacts Augmenos directly. Such correspondence is retained only as long as necessary to respond.
- Augmenos does not store biometric data, facial recognition data, or environmental scans.
- Where device sensors, cameras, or spatial tracking features (e.g., hand, face, or environment tracking) are used, all processing is performed locally on the device, and such data is neither transmitted nor stored.
- Where an application requires internet connectivity, no personal information is transmitted to Augmenos, except as described in Section 3.
3. Anonymous Usage Statistics
Certain applications, where indicated in the applicable privacy disclosure on the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or other platforms, collect anonymous usage statistics on the basis of the legitimate interest of Augmenos in improving the Services. Such statistics may include interactions within the application (for example, content viewed and search queries entered), together with the application version, device platform, application language, and store country or region. Search queries that appear to contain contact information, such as an email address or telephone number, are excluded prior to transmission.
Augmenos does not collect names, account information, device or advertising identifiers, or location data in connection with usage statistics. Usage statistics are processed exclusively by Augmenos and its hosting providers, and IP addresses are not retained. Individual event records are deleted after ninety (90) days; only aggregated daily totals are retained thereafter.
Usage statistics are enabled by default. Users may disable collection at any time through the application’s settings.
4. Website
The website does not use analytics cookies or third-party tracking technologies. Hosting providers may process technical data, such as IP addresses, solely as necessary to deliver and secure the website.
5. Third-Party Service Providers
Augmenos relies on third-party providers for application distribution, hosting, and content delivery, including the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and other platforms for application distribution, in-app purchases, and aggregated application analytics. Such providers process data in accordance with their own privacy policies. Augmenos does not sell or share personal data with third parties.
6. Legal Basis for Processing
Where personal data is processed, such processing is based on one or more of the following legal grounds:
- Consent;
- Performance of a contract;
- Compliance with a legal obligation;
- The legitimate interests of Augmenos, provided such interests are not overridden by the rights of the data subject.
7. Data Subject Rights
Under the GDPR, users have the right to:
- Access personal data held by Augmenos;
- Request correction or deletion of such data;
- Restrict or object to its processing;
- Request data portability.
Requests may be submitted to contact@augmenos.com. As Augmenos generally does not process personal data, these rights may not apply in most cases. Users also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority.
8. Security
Augmenos implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect data under its control. However, no method of transmission or storage is fully secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

The Services are not directed to children under sixteen (16) years of age. Augmenos does not knowingly collect personal data from minors.
10. International Data Transfers
Where data is processed outside the European Economic Area, Augmenos ensures that appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with the GDPR.
